What kinds of vendors are you accepting?We are looking for vendors of all varieties! Crafters, artists, food vendors, small business, direct merchants, local businesses, and more! We hope to create a festive and, more importantly, inclusive event for Auburn and our surrounding communities. We are always open to applications from new vendors and will review each application on a case-by-case basis. NOTE FOR DIRECT SELLERS/INDEPENDENT CONSULTANTS: While the Fingerlakes Mall does welcome Direct sellers for businesses such as Scentsy, Mary Kay, Pampered Chef, etc., please keep in mind that we can only have one vendor from each company. Vendors for these companies are accepted on a first-come first-serve basis.
How much time do I have for setup?You will have three hours prior to the event starting on both days for setup. This means the doors will be open at 7:00am on Saturday, December 3rd and 8:00am on Sunday, December 4th. Vendors will not be allowed to set up on Friday night. You are responsible for bringing your own items in and out of the building, so please do your best to plan accordingly.
Can I leave my items overnight?For those of you who are participating in both days of this event, you are welcome to keep your items in your space overnight if you so choose. However, please understand that the mall is a common use space and is accessible by the public before, during, and after the fair. There is no guarantee that your items will be safe and untouched. The Fingerlakes Mall is not liable for anything that may happen to vendor merchandising, personal belongings, or any other items.
What about tables and chairs?You are more than welcome to bring your own tables and chairs for this event. If you are unable to bring your own, or would simply prefer not to, the Fingerlakes Mall will have tables and chairs available for rent for an additional cost. Please keep in mind that each vendor space is 10ftX10ft, and your tables and chairs must remain inside your space.
When will I get my vendor space number and placement information?Vendors will receive an email in the week prior to the event providing further setup instructions and helpful information. Please keep in mind that there will be many vendors and sending out these emails may take a couple days. Vendor spaces will also be numbered differently than the previous year. For example, if you attended last years event and requested the same space for this year, you may be placed in the same general location but have a new number.
